Houdini time
Fillet and lighting study. Learned a lot and what I really need to focus on for my next study.
Plasticity + Houdini + Redshift
Houdini bevel study
Testing out a lot of basic tools and working ways in Houdini for this controlled laptop bevel.
Reflective study
For a couple days I studied reflective materials including different ways to light them. I created a area light and a no light bounce card set up.
I learned a lot around shaping edges, controlling highlight width, managing falloff and more.
Liquid and glass material study
Having fun with water slash bubble like spheres in Houdini
Houdini VDB's
Getting comfortable with VDB's in Houdini while building a candy bar.
I brought SVG logos in to boolean on the candy and it came out very clean.
Phone project
Had fun knocking out this phone model in plasticity, UI animations in after effects and animation and lighting in Houdini.
